Once again into the fray and what happened in the month of June 2012.
We usually go for little drives to the Waikato Trails, Blue Springs walkway, and up side roads for walks. Nothing much to talk about though in a blog.
I did manage to back out of a driveway I was parked in, out across the street into a parked car and that cost me $460 and that was to fix his car up. Meanwhile the back light left side was smashed on mine and needs a plastic cover. A few days later I lost one of my hub caps and the car wreckers are looking to see if they have a match. That little car of mine wasn’t all that popular and of course being a 1989 model makes it rarer still so that whether he will find one who knows.
Couldn’t open the garage door and had to get Rosemary into the garage through the back window. We now have an extra key for the side door and I think I have fixed the big front door.
We have started an abominable jig-saw that Margaret was nice enough to give us. Of course she was able to do it and we manage to get one or two pieces in a day! The trouble is that we might not live long enough to finish it.
Went to a wedding on the 30th something I had promised myself not to do again. That and funerals bore me right off my twig. Also meetings, religion and politics.
We have had some very invigorating weather lately, great for walking. I have a hard time keeping up with Rosemary. Now the question arises, if I was to exercise on the treadmill like R. does would it give me more pep or would I just wear my knees out? Could it be that I’m just too old for that kind of nonsense.
Another thing I have trouble with is to exercise. Rosemary reads books in large print as she peddles along to nowhere.
You will notice a new contributor this month, hope she can keep it up for it will be great to hear from her and of course it will indicate that she is better in health.
Hope all is well with the rest of you, keep smiling and remember the worst is yet to come!!
Love, Ray.
