Ray's Ravings

Well here we are into 2012 and still putting up with it all. Now over 45 years in New Zealand and it will have to do.
We had a visit from TC, Ceri, Lauren, Vaughan, & Caleb on 23rd. Uptown for Indian food in what used to be the round post office. Then over to Tirau looking in the shops. They were over on a mid term holiday care of the job.
Rosemary has been walking with pack on back getting ready for her trip with her sister Margaret down the top of the South Island.
She will probably have something to say in the blog for February. She is not doing a blog this time, having nothing to add.
As usual it has been pretty quiet around here. Rosemary doing lots of gardening, me cutting back all the shoots on the fences and doing the lawns once in a while.
Went to Temple View one day and on the way back had a walk around a lake north west of Te Awamutu. We usually drop in the Subway on the way back and have a snack. There was no place to park so we went to Macdonalds!
The cat is still alive and seems to like her little kingdom here chasing away most of the other cats that dare to trespass. There is one tom that she just watches.
Thus ends another very quiet month for us. Ray.
