Here we go for the month of December which like most of my months are nice and quiet and to my taste.
The weather has been not too bad considering that we live in the middle of so much sea. Still green here with no floods, no fires and no lack of drinking water.
We actual did something worth a mention on the 19th and you who attended my eightieth will remember the place we went to. Chris, Rosemary’s brother and of course Rosemary with me walked up to the Rocky Outcrop and down to the saddle on the old track. Chris went up the Pointy Bit and we returned on the service road which is four kilometers to the parking lot. A nice day for it.
The rest of the month just went with the usual chores and a few walks and buying groceries and bargains in op-shops. I like op-shops and they have been helpful with saving money so that I can waste it on other things.
Bought another printer for this Note Book and spent more money on the cartridges than I paid for the printer. What a fuss setting that up. Had a little trouble even putting the cartridges in. Then went to attach it to the computer and found they had given me a duplicate of the lead to the power. So uptown and bought the real thing and couldn’t even manage to plug it in. So I shot myself
I must have failed in that too because I’m still here. Anyway I finally got it all ready to run and went through the printing routine and much to my surprise it worked and so we have another possession.
All the best for another month. Ray.
