Another month with the green world greening. The flowering shrubs I believe have really been quite a show this spring. I can’t resist taking pictures of them. A lot of duplication from one year to the next.
Each year the countryside looks greener and I’m sure it is just that my memory is so poor that it looks that way.
I have had a look at my journal for the glorious month of October and do not intend to bore you with my existence at 130.
As far as I know considering my great age I’m as well as can be expected. I need for nothing, I have more than one pair of shoes, a few books to read and forget about and plenty of time to dwell on the meaning of life, the universe and all that. I have the job most suited to my abilities and I’m not in debt.
I will soon escape to the never never land, probably find fault there. For starters forever is a long time.
Hope all is well with most of you and will get better for some. Just remember the worst is yet to come.
Until next month then for me another Christmas without snow.

I know what you mean about greener every year. The Port hills next to Christchurch are not normally very green as we do not get the rainfall down here. However this year they are surprisingly green. I commented on that to Mark, realising at the same time that I have made that comment many other years as well. Christchurch is still beautiful.
