Ray's Ravings

Would you like to know what I did in April 2011? Nothing worth reading about as usual. I didn’t fly anywhere, I didn’t go to any weddings, I didn’t go to church and I didn’t do anything constructive.
I looked after the cat and pigeon, kept the mail box cleared and put the lights on and off as the occasion required.
I must admit I did do some thrilling stuff though, I cut the grass, paid the bills and read a few dry as dust books.
The question arises though, would I be able to stand excitement in my death warmed over life style? One must always remember one’s tender age.
Life is basically one continuous repetitious carry on and if one enjoys doing things over and over then this is the world to do it in.
Fancy going into the next dimension and finding it is another set-up of the repetitive carry on type with the only difference between earth life and spirit life being that the latter lasts for ever. It will be hell for the likes of me who get fed up with shaving and cutting grass.
However, I consider myself compared with millions of others very fortunate being in one of the better parts of the globe, having enough to eat, not suffering any pain, and so on and so forth. No forest fires, floods, wars, tsunamis, earthquakes, debts, and may it continue on.
I hope all you world travelers have managed to return to reality and you are all blest with health and strength.
Until the next report, I remain, yours truly, the oldest.
