One of the Pettys of 130

Ray’s Ravings
So we have May 2010
Sun. 2nd and in Tokoroa. We looked at a house for sale after the meetings.
Walkable to the chapel, quiet street, backs onto park, has two toilets, double parking under back of house with internal access. Heat pump, etc, $210,000.00
Mon. 3rd Nathan phoned to tell us Dylan’s mission call will be in N.Z. can the country handle two Pettys at once?
Then of course we have Ellen, that will be off to San Diego California to learn Spanish with an Australian accent for three months so onto her mission call.
All the best to the two of them.
Sun. 9th had a visit from Chris which was pleasant as usual. He certainly gets around in the job he does.
Mon.10th drove over to Tirau on No. 1 and took the first turn on the right side after driving through the town and parked the car and went for a very pleasant walk to the end of a road. It helped to have an ideal day weather wise. Built a couple of houses in different spots and dreamed a dream.
David telephoned and told us he didn’t go to Egypt after all and we were brought up to scratch on how they are getting on. Laurie not all that well.
Wed. 12th will start to visit a chap out in Arapuni Village in connection with Age Concern. Just an hour a week. (Subsequently I visited him, and he has turned out to be quite a pleasant chap.) Fri. 14th bought another camera, just what we need. Samsung 12.2 mg – 10 power zoom – wide angle –etc for $649.00 down from $799.00 with free case and 4g card. Small in size with very large LCD screen.
This of course is the time of year for raking up the leaves from the trees. I don’t mind doing the job really but would rather do more important things like jig-saws. Of which I am doing while Rosemary is away in Australia which she will no doubt tell you all about having returned safely.
My duty has been done, I have spoken in the blog for May 2010.
All the best, Ray.
